Dr. Comfort Yemisi Afolabi
Dr. Comfort Yemisi Afolabi is an educationist with interest in Gender Studies and Educational Management. She obtained a B.Ed. in English and Literary Studies from Ondo State University, Ado-Ekiti (Now Ekiti State University) in 1993. She had a Master and Ph.D. degrees in Educational Management in 2001 and 2010 respectively from Ekiti State University. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Gender and Development Studies from Ekiti State University in 2016. She assumed duty at the Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS) as a Research Fellow II/Lecturer II on 5th May, 2014. She is currently a Research Fellow I
She has published several articles in Local and International Journals and participated in Conferences at home and abroad. She is a member of the following Academic and Professional bodies: Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) (NIM), 2001 to date; Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria, 2008 till date; The Society for the Study of Social Problems, 2019 to date and Nigerian Anthropological & Sociological Practitioners Association (NASA), 25th September, 2020 till date. She has served the Centre and the University on various committees. She is the Coordinator of her unit from 2015 till date.
