Dr. Sunmola Kazeem Adebayo is a Medical Demographer and Social Statistician.  He had his Bachelor of Science degree the Department of Demography and Social Statistics, at the great citadel of learning, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in 2006 with a Second Class Upper division. His passion for academic and research activity encouraged him to proceed on his academic progression and obtained M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in the same department and institution mentioned above in 2011 and 2019 respectively.  

His wealth of experiences cut across Research Agencies, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and tertiary institution. He was engaged as a research consultant and demographic specialist for a number of NGOs within and outside Ekiti State in various capacities ranging from State field supervisor to lead consultant.  Few of the indigenous and international NGOs he had consulted for in the past include but are not limited to Balm in Gilead Foundation and Sustainable Development (BIGIF); Gender Mobile Initiative (GMI); Save the Children International (CSI); World Bank; Centre for Research, Evaluation Resources and Development (CRERD) and Academy for Health Development (AHEAD).

Dr. Sunmola is the exam officer since 2015 and his present academic rank is Research Fellow II at the Centre for Gender and Development Studies (CGDS). He has a list of population and gender related articles in reputable local and international journals to his credit. Moreover, his international training exposure and capacity building skills on both quantitative and qualitative research methods, data management and analysis software such as Advanced Miscroft Excel, Statistical Package for Social Scientists (SPSS), Stata and Nvivo among others is second to none. He is an active member of Population Association of Nigeria (PAN) from 2018 till date.
